Report of April 17 – 24 2011

In concluding a three night Hanuman Yagna, the committee of Diamond Shiv Mandir humbly requested Swamiji to bless them on the final night.  Swamiji blessed them with divine discourse on Sunday April 17th. Raja Graham De Freitas and other members of the International Meditation Society also attended and brought greetings to the audience.

Swamiji visited Tobago on 18th anad 19th April. Some devotees accompanied him on this trip. On returning to Trinidad he observed Mauna (silence) for the next 24 hours. 

Swamiji was invited to give blessings on the 80th birthday celebrations of Shri Satnarayan Maharaj ji, Secretary General Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha Trinidad & Tobago. Swamiji addressed the huge gathering and presented a vastram (special shawl) to Shri Sat Maharaj ji.  This program was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel Port of Spain on Thursday April 21st.  Finance Minister of Trinidad & Tobago Mr. Winston Dookeran and Minsiter of Local Government Mr. Chandresh Sharma shared in the joyous occasion.

Two programs were conducted on Friday 22nd. The first at was at Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Freeport followed by discourse at a Srimad Bhagwat Puran Maha Yagna in Charlieville.  Consultations were held with devotees on Saturday morning and in the evening Sri Swamiji spoke during satsangh at RamaKrishna Mandir Mohess Road, Penal.

Sri Hanuman ji – A Management Guru was the unique theme which Sri Swamiji spoke on at the Dattatreya Yoga Center on Sunday April 24th during Sunday Morning Service.  This discourse left the audience thirsty to know more as it was the first time Sri Hanuman ji’s character and personality was looked at from this angle.  Following this Swamiji was engaged in several meetings and in the evening period he conducted a satsangh at a devotee’s home in Penal.
