Florida2/6 - 6/6 2008 Sri Swamiji arrived at Tulsi Vedanta Ashram, Coral Springs Florida on 2 nd June from Trinidad & Tobago. During these days some devotees participated in puja and meditation. On 6 th June, Sri Swamiji left for Dallas . Dallas6/6 - 9/6 2008
In celebration of the 6 th year anniversary, a three night yagna was held at North Texas Hindu Mandir. The mandir committee and the devotees were extremely enthusiastic to listen to Sri Swamiji's lecture so they made a special request for Swamiji to speak on a different katha from Sri Ramcharitmanas each night. The first night's topic was Sri Hanumanji, followed by Bharat bhaiya - bhakti and devotion and the third day was a very interesting theme; Agni Pariksha (fire test) of Sita Ma. It was the first time that many devotees were exposed to this particular katha of Ramayan. Swamiji presented the philosophical aspect and spiritual meaning of this theme. The devotees were extremely happy and with love and bhakti in their hearts everyone expressed there deep yearning for Swamiji to come again. The audience at the mandir was a mixed one with South Africans, Guyanase, Trinidadians, North and South Indians. During this visit Sri Swamiji visited the Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of North Texas. There he met Sister Brahma-Prana the resident minister. Swamiji was warmly received by Sister and spent some time discussing about future programs in Dallas and in the Caribbean with her. Sushri Ananda and Sushri Vashti Ramsumair President of Tulsi Vedanta Ashram attended the Dallas program. Sri Swamiji departed Dallas for Virginia on 9 th June. Virginia9/6 - 12/6 2008 Sri Swamiji and Sushri Ananda arrived at Brahma Vidya Peetham in Virginia on 9 th June. Some devotees conducted puja and prayer with Swamiji on 10 th . Devotees came to have darshan of Swamiji on 11 th . On 12 th June, Sri Swamiji together accompanied Brahma Vidya Peetham President, Pt. Rajendra Persad and Sushri Ananda left for Houston . The East Indian Durga Bari Mandir hosted a three day discourse by Sri Swamiji on 13, 14 and 15. Most of the devotees of this mandir are especially from Bengal, Calcutta and Bihar . Sri Swamiji spoke on the Ideal of Motherhood on the first day, Hanumanji on the second day and Shankar Bhagwan on the third day. On 15 th June, Sri Swamiji also delivered a lecture at the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha Mandir, a branch of Trinidad & Tobago. Since it was Father's Day, Sri Swamiji spoke on Fatherhood in the Ramayan through the example of Raja Dasarath, Janakji, Bali , Ravan, Manu and Jatayu. Through these personalities, Sri Swamiji brought to light the qualities of ideal fatherhood and the impact of good fatherhood on a personal, social, national and global basis. This discourse was relayed live across the globe by Radio Jaagriti of Trinidad & Tobago.
