Visit To USA - June 2007

•  Shri Swamiji left Trinidad on the 9 th of June, 2007 on American Airlines @ 3:15pm, together with Anandamaiyee and Karuna.

•  Arrived at the Tulsi Vedanta Ashrama at #4160 Coral Springs Drive , Florida @ 9:30 pm.

•  Shri Swamiji then left for Washington on Monday 11 th June, 2007 to meet and arrange with devotees for a Meditation Symposium which will be held in the month of October.

•  He then returned to Miami on Tuesday 12 th June.

•  On Wednesday 13 th June, Shri Swamiji left again for Trinidad at 6:00 am to attend to a few programs that were being held there.

•  On Saturday 16 th June, 2007, Shri Swamiji then returned to Coral Springs , Florida for a Gyaan Yagna which was held in Shiv Temple , Oaklam Park . This Yagna was organized by the Ramsumair family.

•  1 st Night : 16/06/07   " Shri Hanuman Katha "   - Shri Swamiji presented the meeting of Hanumanji with Bharat in Ayodhya. The katha showed the unswerving faith and devotion of Bharatji to the lotus feet of Shri Raam, as Hanumanji was revived after being brought down by Bharat's arrow.

•  2 nd Night : 17/06/07   " Shri Raam Katha"   - Shri Swamiji eloquently and picturesquely presented Lord Raam's pure love for Lord Shiva as He performed the special and sacred Lingam puja on the brink of His march into Lanka. The katha illustrates how the unflinching faith of Lord Raam to Lord Shiva became the keystone of His success against the adharmic Ravana.

•  3 rd Night : 18/06/07 " Shri Shiva Katha"   - Shri Swamiji presented the many facets and divine qualities and attributes of Mahadeva. Sushri Anandamaiyee inducted this lecture with an epigrammatic and relevant introduction to Lord Shiva. One of the highlights of the katha was the meeting of Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva.

•  4 th Night : 19/06/07 " Shri Veda Katha" - To culminate the Yagna, Shri Swamiji, as per requested, aptly presented the essence of the Four Vedas. He touched on the Vedas and its deep philosophical meanings, its spiritual connotations, its historical significance and also on its practical and scientific aspect. Devotees were given a gist of the vast wealth of knowledge and nectar contained in these most holy and ancient texts of our Hindu culture.

•  The Gyaan Yagna concluded on Tuesday 19 th of June, 2007. Approximately 150 persons attended each night on average. In addition, plans were made for another such Yagna later this year, following the success of this Gyaan Yagna.

•  On Sunday 17 th June, Shri Swamiji conducted the 'Moondhan' Sanskaar for Vasu Maharaj in the presence of his family from both Trinidad and Coral Springs .

•  On Wednesday 20 th June, 2007, Shri Swamiji, together with some of His devotees left Coral Springs , Florida to visit the Grand Canyon in Phoenix , Arizona . This trip lasted until Tuesday 26 th June, 2007, where He returned to Coral Springs .

•  On Wednesday 27 th June, 2007, Shri Swamiji then traveled to Barsaana Dham in Austin , Texas , upon the request of Swami Prakashanandaji.

•  Shri Swamiji then returned to Coral Springs on Thursday 28 th June, 2007.

•  Finally, on Friday 29 th June, Shri Swamiji returned to Trinidad via American Airlines at 6:15 pm.
