Guru Swami Brahmadeoji - Brahmavairaagy was born in the period of Kartik
Purnima on the 18th of November 1945 to a pious Brahmin family, in the
holy village of Kashi also known as Varanasi or Benares.
His natural disposition led him to his mission in life:
that of promoting happiness and the elevation of the social and spiritual
aspects of mankind.This was evident even as a child and he was nourished
and nurtured by his parents to follow the spiritual path.
He was inspired by great spiritual personalities of which
Ramakrishna Parmahansa, Swami Vivekananda, Yogi Arvind and Ramana Maharashi
had the most outstanding impressions and contributions to the molding
of his spiritual destiny, and his social and cultural inspiration was
influenced by Mahatma Gandhi, Acharya Vinoba Bhavey, and Guru Golwalkarji.
His spiritual journeys have led him to Shree Sathya Sai
Baba, whom he visits very often.
He graduated with a Bachelor in Education degree from Calcutta
University and a Masters in Science and Philosophy from the University
of Agra. During his student years he was a dynamic and active member in
the Student Movement for Reformation of the Indian Education System. Following
his graduation he taught Science for five years at a Secondary School
in Calcutta.
His formal spiritual training began at the RamaKrishna Mission
under the Vivekananda tradition. It continued in Yoga and Meditation with
the great Yogi Shri Dev Raha Baba, Shri Baware Ji Maharaj, Shri Ramashraya
Das Ji Maharaj and Acharya Vinoba Bhavey.
The Holy Scriptures of the Ramayan and the Bhagwat Gita
have been his source of inspiration throughout life. This is reflected
since the beginning of his spiritual career at Andman Nico Bar Island
in India where he propogated the Ramayan for two years. Following this
his international career started in England then moved to Holland in 1986
and continues to this day.
Since 1986 until today he has been a world traveler spreading
the message of Divine Consciousness. His journeys have taken him to England,
Europe, North America, Caribbean, South East Asia and certain parts of
Africa.
Guruji holds several positions of great responsibility which

Vice Chancellor of a Vedic University in Holland

Co ordinator to Caribbean Region and European Zone for
the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Maha Sangh, Nepal
As a final note, Guruji is an organizer, a philosopher,
philanthropist, mystic and a pioneer of spirituality in this new millennium. |
