Shankaracharya HH Vasudevananda Saraswati visits Swamiji’s native village Karigavan

To culminate the one year ritual and prayer for his divine mother, Sri Swamiji organized a program in Karigavan, his ancestral village.  A beautiful, serene, placid and pure place filled with nature and simplicity.  HH Shankaracharya Vasudevananda Saraswati – Jyotish Peeth, Badrinath came especially for this program and with Vedic mantras offered flowers and prayed for the peace of Dadi Ma’s soul. Swamiji organized a big bandara where thousands of people from all villages and towns came to take food.  This was very touching.  Devotees from Trinidad, Holland and Suriname also attended.
